Committee
OSHCA will be managed by a committee consisting of the main office-bearers and ordinary committee members. They shall be elected at the alternate annual general meeting. All office-bearers and every officer performing executive functions in OSHCA shall be members of OSHCA in benefit.
The function of the Committee is to organise and supervise the day-to-day activities of OSHCA and to make decisions on matters affecting its running within the general policy laid down by the general meeting. It shall furnish a report to each annual general meeting on its activities during the previous year.
The Committee meets regularly but where an urgent matter requiring the approval of the Committee arises and it is not possible to convene a meeting, the Secretary may obtain such approval by means of a circular letter electronically under specified conditions and procedures.
Members of the Committee are bound by the provisions in the Constitution with regards to their attendance at meetings and their duties.
The Committee consists of the following:
- A President
- A Vice-President
- A Secretary
- An Assistant Secretary
- A Treasurer
- Seven (7) Ordinary Committee Members, each representing Africa & Middle East, North America, Latin America & Caribbean, Europe, Eastern Europe & Central Asia, Asia and Oceania.
